MAYHEM, DEFILED: European Tour Dates Announced

Norwegian black metallers MAYHEM and Japan's DEFILED will be teaming up for a European tour beginning in early April. A third band will be added to the bill soon.

MAYHEM's new album, "Chimera", is scheduled for release on March 29 in Europe and April 6 in the U.S. through Season Of Mist Records. The CD, which was recorded at a mobile studio in the mountains of Norway, reportedly features a musical direction that is being described by the band as "much more back to basics and much more brutal" than 2000's "Grand Declaration of War".
